Former All-American Goalie Named Gents Lacrosse Coach

SHREVEPORT--Director of Athletics Dr. William Broussard announced Wednesday the appointment of former Auburn All-American goalie Jeremy Lichtig as head coach of the Centenary Gents Lacrosse team. Lichtig will guide the team as it transitions from a club team to NCAA Division III classification in 2012-13.

Centenary Lacrosse to Enter NCAA Division III Competition

SHREVEPORT - Men's Lacrosse at Centenary will become an intercollegiate sport starting in the 2012-13 academic year. The already successful club program, which began back in 2001, has achieved wins against established teams such as Tulane, Millsaps, University of Dallas, and University of Texas at San Antonio.
