2010 Schedule Set for Ladies Soccer

SHREVEPORT-Back at the helm of the Ladies program, head coach Glenn Evans recently released the Centenary women's soccer 2010 schedule.

The Ladies are set to play a total of 19 matches, as the last nine will come against Summit League opponents.

Centenary will open the new season with two away matches against LeTourneau in Longview, Texas (Aug. 27) and at UL-Monroe in Monroe, La. (Sept. 3). The first home contest is slated for September 5 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 1 p.m.

The Ladies will host eight home matches: UAPB, Mississippi College, Millsaps College, ORU, IPFW, Oakland, UMKC, and Southern Utah.

Evans and team are gearing up in hopes of another exciting season as Centenary finished 2009 with an impressive 11-6-1 mark and a five-game win streak to open the season along with a 6-3 record on Mayo Field.
