Gents Tennis Suffers Friday Loss

KANSAS CITY, Missouri-The Centenary men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to IUPUI on Friday in Summit League action.

In singles action, Evan Magill fell 6-3 and 6-0, while Michael Reeks was defeated 6-0, 6-1 and Micah Threadgill was dropped 6-4, 6-2. Matt Shoptaugh led 6-3, 4-1 but did not finish, while Sam Grace and Jacob Dawson were down 6-4, 3-1 and 6-2, 4-3 but also did not finish.

Shoptaugh and Magill suffered an 8-1 loss in doubles action, while teammates Dawson/Threadgill fell 8-4 and Grace/Reeks battled but were edged 8-7.

Centenary will return to the court on Saturday when it faces IPFW at 2:00 pm.
