Centenary athletics announces launch of new website
SHREVEPORT – After months of hard work and preparation, Centenary Athletics has partnered with Streamline Technologies to launch its new athletic website.
The most noticeable change is a large, more dominant photo compared to the old website. The site is much more user-friendly, offering a variety of easily accessible tabs to help navigate through the website.
“The picture was high on our priority list,” interim Director of Athletics Jon Stenman said. “We collaborated numerous times on the design and layout and agreed that a dominant picture and this layout would be our best bet. I think it looks great and we’re looking forward to doing business with Streamline.”
The site will keep its original domain www.gocentenary.com, featuring a row of social media buttons at the top right, just a simple click away to help fans stay connected to Centenary Athletics.
“We’re very excited about this new website,” said Fletcher Jonson, Sports Information Coordinator. “Streamline has done an exceptional job with the design and we’re very grateful for all of their hard work.”
Other features of the new and improved site include rotating tabs in the middle section so visitors can view the upcoming sports schedule, results, recent news, social media or videos. There are also links to all 17 of Centenary’s varsity sports, which officially transitioned into the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) July 1.
“It was time for a change in a few aspects of the athletic department,” Jonson said. “With the decision to move conferences, it made sense to revamp our website. It provided an opportunity for Centenary to reestablish itself and we wanted to take advantage of that.”
At the bottom of the new site are links to Centenary’s home page, the Division III and SCAC’s website, and a link to Streamline Technologies.
