Nationally-Ranked Centenary Baseball Offers Multiple Summer Camps

SHREVEPORT, La. – The nationally-ranked Centenary Gents baseball team, the outright 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions, will offer multiple camps for the summer.

The four-day camps in June and three-day camps in July are run by the Centenary baseball coaching staff and has a focus on development and game action. Those camps also include a T-Shirt and lunch in the cost.

The four-day camps will begin every Monday in June (June 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, and 26-29) and the three-day camps will be Monday-Wednesday, July 10-12 and 17-19, for kids between the ages of 4-15. It will run from 8:30 am – 3 p.m. each day. The four-day camps in June cost $125, while the three-day camps in July are $99.

If possible, participants are asked to bring a glove, cleats, a water bottle, bat, and a helmet.

The Gents baseball staff will also offer two other camps in June. From Sunday the 9th through Tuesday the 11th, Centenary will conduct a team camp. Please contact Pat Jolley at the information above for more information, questions, and cost.

Finally, Centenary baseball will offer a high school prospect camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 13. The camp for high school kids will feature offensive and defensive work, skills, and drills with a cost of $75.
