2017 Freshman Season: Named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team... Finished third on the team, was fourth in the SCAC, and 194th in the country with a .382 batting average... Ranked third in the conference (behind a pair of teammates) in RBIs with 41... Named Third Team All-West Region by both the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com... Finished second in the team and in the conference with 65 hits... Finished second in the team and third in the SCAC with 14 doubles... Named SCAC Hitter of the Week on February 13 after going 11-for-16 with six RBI’s, five runs scored, and three doubles in Centenary’s three-game sweep of East Texas Baptist February 10-11.

Prior to Centenary: Was a utility player for head coach Curtis Fox at Shepherd HS... Earned multiple distinctions while playing for the Pirates, including Second Team All-District as a Second Baseman in 2014, First Team All-District as a Utility Player on 2015, and named a District MVP and Honorable Mention All-State as a Pitcher and Shortstop in 2016... Graduated eighth in his class and was inducted into the National Honors Society at Shepherd HS... Won the Presidents Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence and the UIL Scholar Award in 2016.

Personal: Born February 15 in Houston, Texas... Son of Clint and Annice Crowder... Has one sister, Cali, and one brother, Cooper... Majoring in business at Centenary.
