White Finishes NCAA Tune-up before USAG Competition

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Sophomore Ashley White finished 12th in the all-around at the NCAA Regional at the University of Iowa Saturday night, April 2.

White’s best performance of the night came in her first on bars, receiving a 9.725 judges score to finish 31st. She received as high as a 9.800 from one judge of the four judge panel.

She received a 9.675 on both vault and floor to finish 25th and 33rd, respectively. White received an 8.825 on beam to finish 42nd.

Five Centenary gymnasts will finish out the season at the USA Gymnastics Championships Friday-Sunday, April 8-10. White will again perform on all apparatuses, one of only three gymnasts to qualify individually to compete in the all-around. Senior Megan Desjardins and freshman Navia Jordan both compete on beam and floor, while senior Noel Stubbs will perform on vault, bars and beam. Senior Kellie Slater will participate on vault and floor.
