SHREVEPORT, La. --Centenary men’s basketball coach Adam Walsh announced that Kendall Demouchet completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Demouchet comes to Shreveport by way of Northside Senior High school in Lafayette, La.

“We are excited about what Kendall brings to our program on the court with his toughness, athleticism, and defensive ability, but we are equally excited about his character and academic intangibles that will make him a great fit here at Centenary College away from the basketball court,” Walsh said.

Demouchet helped lead the Vikings to a 27-6 record his senior season and runner-up in the state championship en route to claiming first team all-district honors and All-Acadiana for the second straight season, while averaging 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block per contest. The power forward tallied district most valuable player laurels during his junior season.  Off the court, Demouchet earned several academic honors including highest ACT score in his class.

“He comes from an excellent high school, Northside in Lafayette, where coach Devan Clark did a great job this year with a run to the state championship game,” Walsh said. “Coach LeBlanc did a tremendous job building a relationship with Kendall throughout the recruiting process and deserves all the credit for his decision to become a Gent.”
