SHREVEPORT-The Centenary cross country teams are set to host the 6th Annual Healthy Kids' Fun Run on Thursday, April 7 at 5 pm on the Centenary College campus.

This annual event is open to kids only and is strictly for fun. Head cross country coach Shelley Armstrong joins members of the Centenary cross country teams in promoting the sport of running as an enjoyable activity.

The race is a one-mile run around the Centenary campus. There is no time limit and every runner will receive a t-shirt and post-race snacks.

The registration fee is $8 and entry forms received by March 30 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Runners interested may register as late as 4:30 pm on the day of the race.

Kids can be dropped off at the Gold Dome on the second level. Middle school runners will begin at 5 pm, followed by elementary school runners at 5:15 pm.
