GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Centenary men’s lacrosse team suffered its fourth loss of the season with a 27-0 decision to Misericordia. The victory gave the Cougars their first win of the season.

The Gents faced a tough MU defense anchored by goalie Patrick Johnson that held the Maroon and White to just four shots in the outing.

Garret Wick led the squad with two attempts while Colton Cowley and Orin Redwood each logged an attempt apiece.

Cowley paced the Maroon and White with four groundball pickups as the squad recorded 15 in the match.

Matt Letcher played all 60 minutes in goal for Centenary and registered 21 saves in the decision.

Centenary returns to action on Friday, Mar. 8 as the Gents face Rhodes College at 3 p.m.
