LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Centenary’s Michael Reeks was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Reeks posted a three-set, tiebreaker win over the University of the Ozarks’ Corey Dillard (7-6, 6-7, 14-12) before falling 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 singles to the University of Texas-Tyler’s Ryan Ybarra. Reeks is 4-2 on the campaign for the Gents in singles action.

The Shreveport, La., native is the second Gent to receive the SCAC's weekly honor joining Anthony McMaster from earlier this seeason.

Centenary returns to action on Monday, Mar. 11 at a rescheduled time of 4 p.m. against Schreiner.
