SHRVEPORT – It will be a full slate of action on Saturday afternoon, as both the Centenary men’s soccer and swimming teams will be hosting home events at 1 p.m. The soccer team will play Summit League rival Oakland for first place, while the swimmers host Henderson State.

The men’s soccer team is 1-1-0 conference action and Oakland is 2-0-0. The Gents lost to IUPUI 4-3, while they defeated IPFW on the road 1-0. The Grizzlies had 1-0 victories over Western Illinois and Oral Roberts.

Centenary has not been in action since the win over IPFW on Oct. 5, while Oakland was taken down by The Ohio State on Wednesday, 2-1.

The swimming teams will play host for the second time this season, as they opened last home last weekend with Incarnate Word. Both Ladies and Gents were victorious over the Cardinals.

This will be the last home event for the swimming teams until Jan. 19 when they meet TCU at the Centenary Recreation Center.
