ROCHESTER, Mich.--The Centenary volleyball team received a boost on Friday evening as injured setter Lindsay Bekelja returned to the lineup. The senior contributed in a big way with 40 assists and 20 digs, but the Ladies could not pull the win, losing to Oakland 3-1 (28-30, 30-19, 30-19, 30-27).

Centenary (1-22, 0-9 Summit) took the first game behind 19 team kills. However, Oakland (7-15, 3-6 Summit) rallied on its home court to take the four-game victory.

Freshman Stephanie Hobaugh and junior Ashlee Freeman each finished with 14 kills to lead the Ladies. Hobaugh added 20 digs and Freeman also tallied five total blocks. Junior Danielle Bochat also had five blocks to go with 12 kills.

Amy Golem led Oakland with 23 kills in the victory.

Centenary returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Oral Roberts at 2 p.m. in the Gold Dome.
