ELMHURST, Ill. – After topping the Summit League in points per game, goals and goals per game, Centenary senior forward Aaron Volanski was named first team all-conference. Joining Volanski were freshmen Josh Gomillion and Keegan Walhood, who were voted to the All-Newcomer Team.

Volanski, who played in all 15 matches this season scored nine goals, gave the winning assist during the win over Oral Roberts and scored his first career hat trick against IUPUI. The Magnolia, Texas, native averaged 1.27 points per game, 0.60 goals and 0.60 goals per game.

Gomillion, who also saw action in all 15 games, was tied for second on the team with one goal, which was netted at Missouri State. Walhood gave two assists this season, while playing in 15 matches, and helping the Gents defense hold opponents to a .195 shot percentage.

“These three guys worked hard and deserved their postseason honors,” said head coach Eric Mayo. “I think Gomillion and Walhood are going to continue to get better and help move the team forward.”

Centenary’s three all-conference honorees were the most of any of the teams that did not make the conference tournament.
