With only three days before the Men’s Soccer team reports to preseason training camp, we are very excited about the upcoming season. The Gents Soccer coaching staff is beginning to take shape with the addition of James Speed, Student Assistant Coach, and Clint Brown, Volunteer Assistant Coach, joining the staff.

James Speed is the former starting goalkeeper for the Gents and promises to be a great asset both in the office and on the training field. Coach Speed will work primarily with the goalkeepers and assist with on the field training and game preparation.

Clint Brown is a former soccer standout at Captain Shreve High School. Coach Brown’s passion to assist young men to achieve their goals will be a tremendous asset to our program. Coach Brown will be primarily involved in on the field training and player management.

The Gents first home match will be a preseason exhibition game against Harding University on Saturday, August 23rd, at noon at Mayo Soccer Field. We expect a good crowd for our first home game and we are all anxious to begin the season.

Go Gents!
