SHREVEPORT-The Centenary women's soccer team will host Western Illinois on Friday at 7:00 pm, followed by a Sunday afternoon match at 11:00 am against IUPUI in Summit League play.

The Ladies (9-3-1, 1-2-1 Summit) will honor their six seniors during halftime of Friday night's match. Seniors Kate Donnelly, Kristine Weaver, Lauren Cheaney, Kortney Causey, Lauren Stanley, and Mattie Weatherspoon will suit up for one final weekend of home soccer.

Entering the weekend, Centenary has outscored their opponents, 28-17 and has tallied 117 shots on goal.

Sophomore forward Katie Valdez paces the Ladies with six goals, eight assists for 20 points. She is followed by sophomore Chelsea Granger with five goals, two assists and 12 points.

The biggest spark of the season has been the strong play by the Ladies' newcomers. Freshman Allison Rucinski has tallied four goals, two of which have become game winners and one assist for nine points in her short collegiate career.

Classmates Morgan Ulliman and Courtney Morris aren't far behind with three goals each.

Donnelly and sophomore Deb Hill have split time in goal for Centenary.

The senior has played in seven matches, tallying 41 saves for a .911 save percentage. Donnelly was named Summit League's Defensive Player of the Week after an impressive 19-save, shutout performance against Oakland last week.

Hill has appeared in 10 matches, garnering 49 saves and recorded three shutouts.

Following this weekend, the Ladies will travel to Southern Utah on Thursday for a match at 4:00 pm.
