Swimming Continues with Strong Day 2

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-The Centenary men's and women's swimming teams completed another successful day of swimming on Day 2 of the Summit League Championships as the Gents maintained second place with 388 points, while the Ladies moved into fourth with 281 points.

Oakland continues to pace the field on both the men's and women's side as the Golden Grizzly men have 650 points and the women have 388.

The Ladies 200 yard Medley Relay team of Madi Wyatt, Leslie Wyatt, Jessica Brown, and Laura Huning finished second with a finals time of 1:47.53. Also on the women's side, the 800 yard Medley Relay team of Cassie Cloutet, M. Wyatt, Hayley Schneider, and Lauren Kloepfer placed fourth with a time of 7:50.45.

Kloepfer placed fourth in the 400 yard IM in 4:36.99, while Brown finished sixth in the 100 yard Butterfly in 58.12.

The Gents continued to produce several top finishes as the 200 yard Medley team of Peter Henry, Ryne Smith, Devin Ross, and Caleb McSorley took third in 1:32.74. The 800 yard Freestyle Relay team of Adam Pennington, Josh Scott, Anthony LeBlanc, and Josh Pena captured third as well with a time of 6:59.14.

Henry was the Gents top individual finisher on Day 2 with a second place nod in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 49.65, while teammate Ross was close behind in 50.57 for a third place finish.

Ross Olivier also took placed in the top five with a fifth place finish in the 100 yard Back in 51.37, while Smith was seventh in the 400 yard IM with a 4:12.35 time.
