Ladies Conclude Season in Ninth Place

TULSA, Okla.-The Centenary women's golf team wrapped up its season on Tuesday with a ninth place finish and a team score of 1031 at the Summit League Championships held at The Oaks Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

The Ladies (346-341-344) finished 99 shots out of first place and were led by freshman Justine Kemp (89-81-83) in a tie for 25th overall and a three-round total of 253.

Senior teammate Jessica Marquart (87-87-83) concluded her collegiate career in a tie for 32nd with a score of 257 over two days, while freshman Claire Whitis (84-88-89) placed 34th with a score of 261 for third-best on the team.

Rounding out the Centenary golfers were freshmen Rachel Grinnell (86-89-93) in 40th with a 268 and Kyndal Rose (95-85-89), one shot behind with a 269 in a tie for 41st.

Oral Roberts (316-309-307) took top honors with a three-round total of 932. Despite shooting a 330 in the final round, South Dakota State (314-321-330) wrapped up second place with a 965, while UMKC (339-315-317) had an impressive third round to take third with a 971.

Amber Hensley (76-77-75) captured first place overall with a 228, while North Dakota State's Amy Anderson (81-75-73) cut eight shots to finish second.
