Junior Sara Dornelas (3.2,7,7,1,2,1) fell to 8-19 with the loss after tossing 3.2 innings, allowing seven runs, one of which was earned, on seven hits with one strikeout.

Highsmith (1.0,3,2,2,2,1) pitched the final inning allowing two earned runs on three hits.

NSU connected on 10 hits and manufactured runs from the second through the fifth to send the Ladies home without a win.

Demons' pitcher Kylie Roos (5.0,2,1,1,2,8) fanned eight Ladies at the plate for the win, allowing one earned run on two hits.

Centenary will return to action this weekend at UMKC on Friday beginning with a double-header at 3:00 pm.
