SHREVEPORT-Centenary College and Head Men's Soccer Coach David Orr are proud to announce that Daniel Haar IV has formally accepted the institution's offer of admission and will be joining the Gents' soccer squad next season.

Haar hails from Mandeville, Louisiana and Northlake Christian School. He served as a member of the Wolverine soccer team under Nick Chetta and played left defender and left midfield.

Haar helped his team to the State Playoffs six years and was named All-District for his contributions on the field as well as being honored with the Wolverine Character Award.

The son of Lori Purssegur and the late Daniel Haar III, Haar holds a 2.6 GPA in high school and was awarded the Rodchester Science Award.

Outside of high school, Haar was a member of the Premier Lakers Club Soccer team for one year.

Once at Centenary, Haar plans on pursuing a degree in Engineering.

"It's very exciting to bring in an athlete like Danny. His presence will increase our team's overall athleticism, said Orr.
