SHREVEPORT-Centenary College and head men's soccer coach David Orr have announced that Chase Duet has accepted the institution's offer of admission and will play for the Gents during the 2010 season.

Duet is the second player to be added to the soccer roster as he will join Daniel Haar IV this Fall.

From Raceland, Louisiana, Duet is the son of Kevin and Rhonda Duet. He was a two-sport athlete, having received two letters in soccer and one in football at Central Lafourche High School.

Duet was a goalkeeper for the Trojans under coach Simon Badeaux. He helped his team to the State Playoffs while in high school and was named Honorable Mention All-District as a goalkeeper.

He is expected to major in Business at Centenary.

"Chase is a good kid with good character. He'll help provide much needed depth on our roster," said Orr.
