Ladies Place Fourth at LeTourneau Spring Classic

LONGVIEW, Texas-The Centenary women's golf team remained consistent with their play at the LeTourneau Spring Classic, placing fourth with a two-round total of 667 on Tuesday.

The Ladies trimmed one shot off their opening round score, firing a 333 in the final round.

Centenary was led by sophomore Kyndal Rose's 164 and Top 10 finish, as she tied for 10th with two rounds of 82. Sophomore Rachel Grinnell (82-84) totaled 166, two shots back from Rose to finish in a tie for 13th. Also playing within two shots was sophomore Justine Kemp (85-83) who tied for 16th with a two-round score of 168 and freshman Sarah Bradshaw (85-84) who tied for 20th with a 169. Freshman Kylee Goldthorn (92-97) totaled 189 to finish tied for 42nd overall.

Northwood University (314-330) grabbed the team titled with a two-round total of 644. Mary Hardin Baylor (331-326) and Schreiner University (331-326) each fired a 657, tying for second place.

Individually, Tyler Junior College's Jacki Marshall (72-73) shot a 145 for first place.

The Ladies will now gear up for The Summit League Championships on April 18-19 at Primm Valley Country Club in Primm, Nevada.
