SHREVEPORT-After opening up Summit League play last weekend, the Centenary women's soccer team looks to garner its first league win this weekend when it hosts IPFW on Friday at 7 pm and Oakland on Sunday at Noon on Mayo Field.

The Ladies are 3-7 overall and 0-1 in league play having dropped a 3-1 contest last Saturday to Oral Roberts at home. Centenary is looking to snap a three-game skid as its last win came on Sept. 19 against Millsaps.

As a team, the Ladies are averaging 1.00 goal a game and just over 13 shots per contest. Of the 10 goals scored this season, senior Kortney Causey paces the team with three goals, followed by juniors Candace Rushing and Erika Rautio and sophomore Kelly Fossard with two each.

Rushing and Kausey each have seven points as Rushing leads the team with three assists to accompany her two goals and Kausey adds one assist to her three goals.

Junior goal keeper Kalyn Harris has played 769 minutes in goal, racking up 45 saves for a .763 save percentage. She has compiled a record of 3-6-0 on the year.

IPFW enters Friday's contest with a 4-6 overall record and a 1-1 mark in The Summit League. The Mastodons are coming off a 3-0 win over North Dakota State. IPFW averages 11.5 shots per game and 1.40 goals per game, led by Lisa Underwood with 10 points on five goals. Arianne Mason adds two goals and three assists for seven points, while Felicia Jones also has seven points on three goals and one assist.

Goal keeper Erin Nayler has played in all 10 contests, making 55 saves for a .786 save percentage.

Oakland is 6-4-1 and 2-0 in league play and are looking to build on its five-game win streak including two key 2-1 wins over South Dakota State and North Dakota State last week.

The Golden Grizzlies are led by Nicole DeLuca's 14 points on six goals and two assists, while Sarah Lynch adds 11 points on four goals and three assists.

Goal keeper Shannon Coley played in all 11 contests for 939 minutes, making 33 saves for a .702 average.

Centenary met IPFW and Oakland both last season as the Ladies won 2-1 in Fort Wayne and tied the Golden Grizzlies, 0-0 in double-overtime in Rochester, Mich.

Following this weekend's contests, Centenary will return to action on Friday, Oct. 15 at IUPUI at 7 pm.
