Volleyball Dropped in Three at IUPUI

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-The Centenary volleyball team fell in three straight sets, 3-0, at IUPUI on Friday evening in Summit League action.

The Ladies fell to 3-18 overall and 0-13 in league play, while the Jaguars improved to 7-9 overall and 6-8 against league opponents.

IUPUI took set one, 25-16, set two, 25-12, and set three, 25-10.

Junior Stevie Kaye produced a 14-kill performance to lead the offensive attack for Centenary, while senior Bethany Kern added seven. Junior setter Caitlin Neese contributed with 17 assists in the effort.

Defensively, the Ladies were led by Kern with five digs.

Centenary was challenged with a strong offensive night by IUPUI as the Jaguars put up 43 kills, committed just seven errors for a .486 attack percentage.

The Ladies were forced into 20 errors, while tallying 26 kills for a .072 percentage.

Centenary will return to action on Saturday evening at 7 pm CT against Western Illinois.
