ARLINGTON, Texas-Senior Bonnie Matak and junior Reggie Salvatore each had two hits on Sunday, but the Centenary softball team faced an offensively strong UT-Arlington squad, falling 8-1, in the UTA Classic tournament finale.

The Ladies fell to 0-10 on the season with Sunday's loss.

UT-Arlington jumped ahead, 5-0, after the first four frames and never looked back. Centenary plated its only run in the top of the fifth with two outs. Freshman Nicole Warren reached base on an error by first base and Matak followed with a single to right field.

Junior Kalyn Harris' RBI single to center field plated Warren for the only run of the game.

After two strikeouts, Salvatore picked up an infield single that would load the bases, but the Ladies would be shut down on a final strikeout to strand three.

The Ladies tallied six hits in the morning contest as Matak (2x4) and Salvatore (2x3) led with two knocks. Regan (1x2) and Harris (1x2, RBI) each added a hit, while Harris picked up an RBI.
