Preview: Volleyball on Road for Three; Home Sunday

SHREVEPORT-The Centenary volleyball team will travel to Marshall, Texas to participate in the ASC Dig Pink Cross-Over Challenge II, hosted by ETBU. The Ladies will face Schreiner on Friday at 2:30 pm, followed by Sul Ross State and Texas Lutheran on Saturday at 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm, respectively.

Centenary will return home to host Mississippi College on Sunday at 2 pm in the Gold Dome.

The Ladies (8-7) are coming off a 3-0 sweep over LeTourneau on Tuesday evening in the Gold Dome. With the win, Centenary is now riding a three-game win streak into the weekend contests.

Junior Shelby Singleton has reached the 200 mark with a team-best 204 kills for an impressive .495 attack percentage. Senior Jaclyn Lopez follows with 139 kills, while freshman Brooke Bahlinger is one behind at 138. Senior Caitlin Neese controls the tempo with 459 assists, while senior Taylor Gilmour has tallied 20 service aces.

Defensively, Gilmour has made 200 digs, while Lopez has 154. Singleton leads the team with 47 block assists and 22 block solos.

Following the weekend matches, Centenary will remain at home to host ETBU on Tuesday in the Gold Dome at 7 pm. Live stats will be available on GoCentenary.com free of charge.
