AUSTIN, Texas-The Centenary women's soccer team was held scoreless as Concordia (TX) earned a 1-0 win over the Ladies on Saturday evening in ASC play on the road.

Centenary fell to 8-6-1 on the season and 6-3-1 in conference action.

The Ladies and Tornadoes held each other in check during the first half, ending in a 0-0 draw. It was Concordia (TX) that found the back of the net first when Andrianne Ambrosy's goal at the 75th minute mark put the home team on the board and later proved to be the game-winner.

Centenary was never able to get an offensive groove going, only firing off eight total shots. Junior Holden Penney led the Ladies with three shots, one on goal, while freshman Carly Slovensky added two shots.

Freshman goal keeper Brittaney Dunn suffered the loss in goal, playing all 90 minutes and collecting 10 saves.

Centenary was out shot 23 to 8 on the evening.

Centenary will return home for its final home weekend of the year when it hosts Mary Hardin-Baylor and Howard Payne on Friday and Saturday. Both contests are slated to begin at 4 pm on Mayo Field.
