Ladies Drop 4-0 Contest at UT-Dallas

RICHARDSON, Texas-The Centenary women's soccer team was held to a silent offensive in a 4-0 loss to UT-Dallas on Thursday evening in ASC play.

The Ladies fell to 9-8-1 on the year with the loss.
UT-Dallas maintained much of the offensive control, holding Centenary to just three shots on the evening, taken by senior Candace Rushing and juniors Allie Cortes and Holden Penney as Rushing's was the only one that landed on goal.

The Comets fired off 38 total shots and sank one goal in the first half and three in the second for the convincing victory.

Freshman goal keeper Brittaney Dunn played all 90 minutes in goal for her 18th straight game, collecting 12 saves, but allowed four goals for the loss.

Centenary will conclude its 2011 season on the road with an afternoon contest at the University of the Ozarks on Saturday at 1 pm.
