Kemp, Bradshaw grab top-10 finishes

BOSSIER CITY, La. – Centenary used two top-eight finishes to grab fifth place at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon.

Justine Kemp used a first-round 78 and a second-round 84 to finish just eight strokes behind Jackson State’s Stephanie Robertson (81-73 – 154). Sarah Bradshaw tied Kemp’s mark with an 82 Monday afternoon and an 80 Tuesday.

Rachel Grinnell tied for 18th after improving her first-round 89 to an 83 Tuesday. Kyndal Rose (86-87 – 173) and Kylee Goldthorn (95-91 – 186) finished 20th and 25th, respectively.

Texas-Tyler’s 638 mark won the event easily, 17 shots ahead of Texarkana’s 655. The Ladies finished fifth in the six-team field, more than 300 shots ahead of UNO’s 1001.
