SHREVEPORT – Centenary looks for its first win in its 14-game home stand as it continues American Southwest Conference play with a four-game stretch, two doubleheaders, against the University of the Ozarks Friday and Saturday.

Friday’s first pitch is slated for 4 p.m. while Saturday’s doubleheader will begin at noon. Centenary (1-26) aims to snap its 15-game skid while the Lady Eagles (8-22) ride a nine-game losing streak and have lost 18 of their last 19.

Nicole Warren leads the Ladies offensively with a .272 average, 22 hits and 12 runs. Kalyn Harris tops the team tally with 10 RBIs and ties Jessica McDonald and Lauren Swift for second-most hits on the squad with 19. Harris’ .338 slugging leads the Ladies, edging Leah Dark’s .306 slugging percentage, the only two Ladies to peak the .300 plateau.

Lynsi Unruh (1-13) is scheduled to get the start in the circle. Her 28 strikeouts is a team-best, tossing eight complete games this season. The Lady Eagles struggle offensively, looking to score their first run in April after being shut out in all four games against East Texas Baptist April 5-6. During the nine-game losing streak, Ozarks is averaging only 1.11 runs per game while allowing 6.44 runs per contest.
