SHREVEPORT, La – The Centenary softball team concludes its season this week traveling to the University of Dallas Wednesday, Apr. 17, before hosting them in a doubleheader on Thursday. Both days are slated to begin at 5 p.m.

The Ladies (4-30, 3-9 SCAC) are coming off a sweep on their latest road trip, dropping a doubleheader at University of Houston-Victoria and all four games at Trinity. Their latest setback was an 8-0 loss.

Lauren Swift leads the team with a .407 batting average and is tied in run production with Cadie Hancok. Both have four homeruns and 13 RBI.

In the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, Swift is in the top five in batting, doubles (9), homeruns, and total bases (56). Nicole Warren is tied for third in stolen bases with 10.

Lynsi Unruh is second in the league in innings pitched with 126.1. The Houston, Texas native also ranks fourth in strikeouts with 72.

The SCAC Softball Championships is Apr. 26-28 in Irving, Texas at the University of Dallas. Times are yet to be determined.
