SHREVEPORT, La – The Centenary softball team concludes its regular season hosting a rescheduled doubleheader against the University of Dallas Monday, Apr. 22 at 5 p.m. These games will make-up the canceled games from April 10 and 18 due to stormy conditions.

The Ladies (6-30, 5-9 SCAC) have won two straight, taking the first two at UD last week 2-1 in both contests. The Crusaders (5-27, 0-14 SCAC) are still in search of its first conference win after being swept by Austin this weekend.

Lynsi Unruh picked up a season best 10 strikeouts in game one at Dallas. She earned both wins to add to her team leading six and went the distance in both. The Houston, Texas, native allowed a run in each contest and gave up a combined nine hits.

Defensive miscues favored the Maroon and White, as three of four runs came unearned. Emma Viskozki combined for a three-for-five night and knocked in what would be eventually the winning run in the fourth inning.

Lauren Swift leads the club in batting with a .387 average. Cadie Hancock and Swift remain in front with four homeruns and 13 RBI each. Unruh leads the team with 142.1 innings pitched and ranks fourth in the league with 88 strikeouts.

Centenary will play in the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference Apr. 26-28 in Irving, Texas at the University of Dallas.
