SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Centenary women’s soccer team fell 9-0 to Trinity University on Friday evening in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action. The loss drops to the Ladies to 2-6-2 on the season and 0-3 in SCAC play. Trinity improves to 8-0-1 and 3-0 in the conference.

Erica Coker recorded a career-high 15 saves in the decision, despite giving up six goals in 72:54 minutes worth of action. Lauren Cullen finished out the remaining 17 minutes allowing three goals partnered with three saves.

The Tigers attempted 56 shots in the contest, including 12 from Kelsey Falcone, who scored one of TU’s goals on the night. Six Tigers recorded goals on the night with Emily Jorgens, Jordan Leeper and Hannah Hommel each totaling two goals each.

The duo of Janie Thompson and Lauren Goldberg split time in goal for Trinity without recording a save in the contest.

Centenary returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 29 as the Ladies face Southwestern at 1 p.m.
