SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary women’s soccer team closes out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 1 at Austin College. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Ladies look to extend their win streak to two games as they knocked off the University of Dallas in its only contest last week 1-0. Laurie Priftis posted her second score of the season in the third minute as the Maroon and White held UD off the scoreboard the remainder of the way to cinch a victory on Senior Day. Erica Coker logged her fourth, career win in goal with four saves against 11 shots by the Crusaders.

Carly Slovensky leads Centenary into action this weekend. Slovensky has six goals this season to pace the Ladies while Amanda Atwell, who leads the squad with 30 shots, ranks second on the team with three goals. Madison Alexander has a team-best four assists this season.

Coker continues to sit among the leaders this season in saves (97) and saves percentage (78.9). The 97 saves ranks third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and is the most by freshmen goalkeepers. Her 78.9-save percentage is third in the league. Coker is tied for third in the SCAC in shutouts with three this season.

AC enters the weekend also riding a one-game, win streak after knocking off Dallas 2-1 last weekend. Lauren Scott paces the Roos with seven goals this season – which is tied for ninth in the conference. Franchesca Lozoya and Emily Brockette have each spent time in goal for Austin. Lozoya is fifth in the conference in saves with 68 and save percentage at 77.3. Brockette has 29 saves this season and a 64.4-save percentage. Lozoya also has three shutouts to her record this season.

The Roos edged Centenary earlier this season at Mayo Field in a 1-0 decision.
