SEGUIN, Texas – Centenary’s Cadie Hancock and Lynsi Unruh were named as honorable mentions to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Team as announced by the conference office.

Hancock led the team with 26 hits and drove in a team-best 14 runs during her junior season. The Bellaire, Texas, native also paced the Ladies with two triples and three homeruns on the season while ranking second on the team in doubles with six. Hancock posted a .289 batting average which was tops on the team and played in all 36 games including 34 starts.

Unruh tallied a team-leading 138.1 innings in the circle for the Maroon and White and gathered all five wins on the rubber. The senior finishes her career among the all-time leaders in strikeouts after fanning 86 batters this season. Houston, Texas, product posted made 32 appearances this season including 24 starts and pitched 10 complete games in her final season.

Centenary finished the 2014 campaign with a 5-31 record with all five victories coming in conference play.
