SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary softball coach Amanda Nordberg announced that Emily Sexton, Codi Coghlan and Alexis Lowery completed the necessary paperwork and deposit with intent to attend Centenary College of Louisiana. Sexton, a native of Shongaloo, La., is a transfer from Bossier Parish Community College. Coghlan, a native of Marshall, Texas, and Lowery, a product of Oak Grove, La., will enter as true freshmen.

“I am excited to have these three join our program,” said Nordberg. “We continue to add pieces that will bring athletic ability, a strong work ethic and positive attitudes. These are the building blocks for making this a stronger and better program in the future.”

Sexton played two seasons at BPCC for Ashley Grisham. In her freshman season, Sexton posted a .429 batting average while scoring 11 times in just nine games for the Lady Cavaliers.
