COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Centenary men’s soccer team took the pitch in Colorado Springs, Colo. this evening against the No. 24-ranked team in the nation, Colorado College. After a long fought match the Gents fell to the Tigers 4-0.

Gents goalie, Rylan Whan, recorded six saves in the effort against 24 shots from CC. Jason Aiken led the Maroon and White with two shots on goal followed by Reece Durham’s solo attempt.

Colorado College’s Seth Newby scored the first two goals of the night assisted by Caden MacKenzie and Max Grossenbacher. After entering the second half of the game, the Tigers’ Sam Markin scored the remaining two goals assisted by Tim Huettel and rossenbacher.

Theo Hooker claimed the win in net for the Black and Gold.

The Gents will return to the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 13 as the Maroon and White face Concordia (MN) College. Kick is slated for 3 p.m. central.
