IRVING, Texas – The Centenary volleyball team fell 3-0 to Colorado College in the final outing of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Divisional. The Ladies drop to 2-11, 0-3 in the conference.

Desiree Frey paced the Centenary attack with six kills in the match. Allison Lazewski dished out 12 assists in the three sets while Rachel Perkins paced the Maroon and White defensively with six digs. Lindsey Long and Frey each added five digs to finish right behind Perkins.

Colorado College, which improved to 14-2 and 3-0 in the SCAC, posted a 43.4 attack percentage in the three sets including 50-plus clips in the final two sets.

Glenna Yancy paced the Tigers offensively with eight kills while Abbe Holtze added seven kills. Sarah Barker led the Black and Gold with 20 assists while Rebecca Watson added 12 assists. Sophie Merrifield led a stout defense with 12 digs. Yancey added five block assists to help the Tigers to 12 in the three sets.

Centenary returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 27 as the Ladies host the first of two SCAC Cross-Divisionals in the Gold Dome. Centenary faces Texas Lutheran in the opening match at 12:30 p.m.
