SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Centenary women’s soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision at No. 3 Trinity University on Friday night as the Ladies fell to 1-10 overall while TU improved to 11-0-1 on the season.

Centenary faced a stingy Tigers’ defense that held the Maroon and White without an attempt in the 90 minutes of action.

Erica Coker and Lauren Cullen split time in goal for the Ladies. Coker received the loss with nine saves in the opening 45 minutes of play while allowing five goals. Cullen accounted for the final 45 minutes of action with four saves against three goals surrendered.

Kelsey Falcone and Hannah Kuhl paced TU with a team-best six shots each. Falcone and Kuhl each accounted for a goal. Allison Carter tallied two of the Tigers’ eight goals scoring in the 69’ and 71’ – the final two scores of the evening.

Lauren Goldberg grabbed the win in net logging 33:13 minutes in action.

Centenary returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 5 as the Ladies travel to Southwestern University. Kick is slated for 3 p.m.
