SHREVEPORT, La. – The Centenary women’s soccer team fell 9-1 to No. 3 Trinity on Friday evening. The Ladies move to 1-12 on the season and 0-7 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action while the Tigers move to 13-0-1 and 7-0 in the conference.

After trailing 2-0 after the first 45 minutes of play, Centenary nipped the TU lead in half in the 53’ as Riley Spudic connected on a free kick. The score marks the first of the season for the freshman and ties her for the team lead.

The Tigers, however, responded with seven unanswered scores led by hat tricks from Emily Jorgens and Abby Tisdale. Jorgens notched scores in the 55’, 65’ and 71’ with Tisdale’s trio of scores coming the 72’, 74’ and 80’ of the contest. Hannah Hommel added the final score for TU in the 90’.
