SEGUIN, Texas --- The Centenary volleyball team saw its three-game win streak snapped as the Ladies dropped a pair of contests in the final Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross-Divisional of the season.

The Maroon and White fell in straight sets against Trinity and Southwestern and will return to action tomorrow to close out play against Texas Lutheran and Schreiner University.

Rachel Perkins and Desiree Frey tied for tops on the team in kills with six each against TU. Allison Lazewski dished out 11 assists while Frey added 11 digs on the defensive end.

Perkins remained constant for the Ladies in the second match of the day with a team-best seven kills in the three sets against SU. The junior also dished out 15 assists to pace the squad and was third on the team with eight digs on the defensive side. Haley Cubberly led the team defensively with 11 digs while Frey added nine. Lindsey Long joined Perkins with eight digs.

For the afternoon, Perkins finished with 13 kills, 24 assists and 13 digs. Lazewski added 19 assists with Frey supplying 20 digs.

Match time against Texas Lutheran is slated for Noon with the outing against Schreiner marked for 2 p.m.
