NORMAL, Ill. – Centenary’s Ashley White claimed her first all-around title of the season to lead the gymnastics team in a dual meet at Illinois State. The Ladies posted a score of 185.250 as ISU won the dual meet with a score of 188.750.

White posted a score of 38.075 and finished in the top three in three of the four events at ISU. The freshman recorded second place finishes in the floor exercise (9.725) and balance beam (9.475) and added a tie for third on vault (9.600). The Houston, Texas, native also tallied an eighth place finish on bars (9.275).

Sylvia Keiter stood as the Ladies’ top finisher on bars with a 9.500 to finish tied for sixth in the event. The Kennett, Mo., product finished third in all-around with a score of 36.175.

Kellie Slater registered a 9.625 on floor exercise to finish third. Saxon Reaux and Megan Desjardins tied for third on beam with a score of 9.450 for the Ladies.

Centenary returns to competition on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Texas Woman’s University. The quad-meet will feature the host Pioneers along with San Jose State and Towson University. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
