GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Centenary softball team dropped four, SCAC outings over the weekend at Southwestern University. The Pirates outscored the Maroon and White 41-6 in the pair of doubleheaders.

The weekend opened with Centenary falling 12-2 and 10-0 on Saturday with 13-1 and 6-3 decisions on Sunday.

Elizabeth LaFisca led the Ladies at the dish going 4-for-7 in three affairs, including a triple. Michelle Tasin garnered a team-best two RBI in the four contests with Morgan Daigle, Haley Miller and Raney Bryant each with a RBI.

The Maroon and White managed a .238 average at the plate for the weekend with 20 hits leading to six runs.

Centenary’s hurlers logged 22 innings in the circle with Miller touting a team-leading 9.1 frames. Tasin logged the lowest ERA on the weekend with a 5.40 in two appearances. SU logged a .407 clip at the dish with 41 runs on 44 hits.

The Ladies return to action on Saturday, March 28 in the first of four outings against Austin College. First pitch is set for 12 p.m.
