SHREVEPORT, La. - The Ladies were able to make key plays to allow the fewest first half goals for the Tigers in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play in a month, but Centenary (1-12, 0-9 SCAC) fell to #1 Trinity (13-0-1, 8-0 SCAC) 6-0 Friday night, October 16.

The loan goal of the first stanza by the Tigers in the second minute of the game was the least since being held scoreless by Schreiner September 15. Trinity’s Jordan Leeper scored when she took the corner kick and angled the ball straight into the back of the net.

However, the Ladies surrendered five second-half goals en route to a 6-0 loss.

Trinity outshot Centenary 47-2, including 23-1 in shots on goal. Freshman Liz Knight tallied the lone shot on target for the Ladies.

Erica Coker (1-8) grabbed 13 saves for Centenary in goal. the third time in four games she reached double-digit saves. Jane Thompson (10-0-1) took the win for Trinity.

The Ladies return to action Sunday, October 18, for senior day at noon.
