KERRVILLE, Texas – Centenary Ladies soccer (4-10-1, 3-7-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) learned it will not be playing its final home game Tuesday. Thanks to a Dallas loss to Southwestern, the Ladies will play in the SCAC Tournament – which is in Shreveport November 3-5.

However, in their game Sunday, October 22, the Maroon and White scored a late goal but could not tally the equalizer as they fell to Schreiner (20-5-1, 9-1-1 SCAC) 2-1.

In the 88th minute down 2-0, an own goal after a Centenary corner kick cut the deficit in half. However, the Ladies could climb no closer. Schreiner’s Dani Loeblein scored in the 17th minute, while Julia Revils netted the game-winner in the 88th minute.

Schreiner outshot Centenary 13-5, including 8-4 in shots on goal. Freshman Maggie Pitcher grabbed two saves for the Ladies, while her counterpart, Jordin Toso, made three saves on four shots faced.

Centenary wraps up regular season home play on Tuesday, October 24, when it hosts Hendrix. Kick off at Mayo Field is set for 5 p.m.
