SHERMAN, Texas – The Centenary Ladies soccer team picked up a critical point to finish fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings as the Ladies (4-11-2, 3-7-2 SCAC) took a scoreless draw with Austin College (4-13-1, 3-8-1) Saturday night, October 28.

Freshman Maggie Pitcher recorded the shutout for the fourth time this season by grabbing both shots faced. Her counterpart, Maya Erwin, stopped all five shots faced.

Sophomore Oliva Jackson led the Ladies with a pair of shots on goal.

With the tie, Centenary secures the fourth seed in the upcoming SCAC Tournament and will play Southwestern at 1 p.m. Friday, November 3, on the Mayo Field Pitch. If the Ladies win, they take on top-seeded Trinity on Saturday at 1 p.m.
