Hammond, La.—For the third consecutive season, Centenary Ladies basketball player Alexis Pettway has been given honorable mention All-Louisiana honors by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. The award is the second of the season for the senior as she was named as a second-team All-Mid-Continent Conference performer in March.

A four-year member of the Ladies basketball team, Pettway led Centenary in scoring (14.4 ppg), rebounding (7.9 rpg), and field goal percentage (49.8%). She finished the 2003-04 season with seven double-doubles and collected 18 in her career. She is the first Centenary player to ever score 1,000 points and pull down 500 boards and ends her career ranked first in both all-time categories for the Ladies with 1,416 points and 797 rebounds.

Pettway also earned Mid-Con Player of the Week recognition during the season and was a preseason second-team All-Mid-Con selection.
