Tickets On Sale For Mid-Con Baseball Tournament

Shreveport—All-session and single-day tickets are now on sale for the 2004 Mid-Continent Conference Baseball Tournament, to be held at W. Peyton Shehee Stadium, adjacent to the Centenary College Gold Dome, from Thursday, May 27 to Saturday, May 29.

For each of the sessions on Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28, tickets are ten dollars ($10) for adults and five dollars ($5) for senior citizens, children ages 3-18, college students with valid I.D.s, and active duty military personnel. Tickets for the championship session on Saturday, May 29, are 12 dollars ($12) for adults and six dollars ($6) for the previously mentioned groups.

Fans can also buy all-session tickets, which are good for admission to all of the games during the three-day tournament. All-session tickets are 30 dollars ($30) for adults and 15 dollars ($15) for senior citizens, children ages 3-18, college students, and active duty military personnel.

Advance tickets can be purchased by coming to the Centenary athletic office on the second level of the Gold Dome between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Tickets will be sold on game days at Shehee Stadium beginning one hour and 30 minutes prior to the first game scheduled that day.

Tickets may also be ordered over the phone by calling (318) 869-5067. Those orders can be charged to VISA, MasterCard, or Discover, and can be picked up at the Centenary athletic office before the tournament or at the ticket window on the day of the game.

The May 27 session, beginning at 3:30 p.m., will consist of two games, while the May 28 session will consist of three games and begin at 12 p.m. The session on May 29 will include at least one game beginning at 1 p.m. and may also see another game played at 4:30 p.m., depending on the first game’s result. The field for the four-team double-elimination tournament will be announced after the last regular season conference game on May 23.
