MACON, Ga.- Three Centenary men’s soccer players were issued red cards as frustrations mounted in another one goal loss, the Gents’ third straight. Host Mercer took advantage early, scoring the game winning goal in the 36th minute after keeper Ranson Rose was issued the first of four red cards in the match. Also receiving red cards were Dustin Forward and Aaron Elrod of Centenary and Mark McKeever of Mercer.

Mercer (2-1) out-shot the Gents 21-9, scoring one goal despite having a two-man advantage at times.
