Centenary vs Northwestern State Box Score

Natchitoches – The Centenary women’s soccer team continued their winning ways, defeating rival Northwestern State 2-1 in overtime. The Ladies improve to 4-0 on the season, avenging last year’s loss to the Demons (1-5).

Centenary was once again led by freshman Tara Sageser, who scored both goals for the Ladies. Her 10 points (four goals, two assists) lead the team, including two game-winners. Sageser has scored in every game this season.

In goal, junior Lindsey Stafford had another strong showing. She matched her season high with 10 saves, raising her to 29 on the year.

Centenary looks to keep their win streak alive when they travel to face Stephen F. Austin on Sunday.
